We have found that when our Greyhounds get regular exercise they are not only more fit, but more content. Bob seems to be enjoying his daily walks. Our regular neighborhood route is 2 - 3 miles, depending on weather conditions and time. These walks make for a peaceful afternoon. In the top picture you can see that Bob has no trouble relaxing after his walk. If you look closely in the lower picture you can see Bob and all 4 of his foster siblings napping peacefully together - Cookie in the xpen, Noble (brindle on the floor), Slick (on the dog bed near Bob) and Maverick (on the bed).
Bob has excellent leash manners and is a pleasure to walk. He is happy to see the leash and knows it is time for exercise and meeting people. He enjoys meeting people on our walks. He has been exposed to a variety of sights and sounds (some very loud) and we have yet to see him bothered or startled by any of them.
Bob is an excellent guest and we are glad to be fostering this big sweet hound. More to come soon.
